I envy any writer who can honestly say their home life never interferes with their writing. I'm not one of those lucky individuals, however. Take this week, for instance. My mother is rather ill, and as the only child--and probably even if I wasn't the only child--it falls on me to tend to her. All normal processes are put on hold. In fact, I just remembered that while I've been taking her to and from the hospital and tending to her needs and comfort I haven't ate in the past two days. I assure you that I plan on correcting that blunder this very evening. :) Still, it's hard when the usual child/parent roles are reversed.
I had intended on working on the next book this week since my own health had finally improved, but it looks like I'll be taking a slight vacation to tend to family matters. So please forgive me for delays and any abnormal absences since I don't know when I'll be on the site again for now.
And I hope everyone else is having a great holiday and not spending their time worrying about a loved one's health. If you are among those sharing my unfortunate circumstances I hope everything works out for the best and your loved ones are happy and healthy again as soon as possible.
